Many people hold saffron-orange flags on poles, and a man in a white dhoti and white shirt holds a banner. The banner shows a printed portrait of a woman with a red-orange shawl and text in Tamil, and a deity image with a red background. Several men wear white dhotis, white shirts and rudraksha or ID-style lanyards. A man in a dark shirt stands at center with a small green sapling tied to a bamboo stake. A woman in a pink sari stands at the upper right behind the group. There is no visible ceremonial fire, and the scene is a roadside gathering in daylight.June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesJune 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesJune 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20102010-09-11June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesNovember 21 20102010-11-21June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a street protest with a crowd of men standing in a roadway. In the centre a man in a white shirt raises one arm, and several men around him wear white dhotis and shirts. Some hold banners and a large red-and-black banner is held aloft. A printed yellow-and-white banner at the top reads in Tamil, and the scene appears to be a public demonstration rather than a spiritual event. The page's Gita talk and a person reference do not match the visible scene, and no candidate for a person is visibly identifiable here.2012-06-01
