A large indoor hall filled with hundreds of seated devotees in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls, many with white sacred ash markings across their chests and foreheads, several wearing rudraksha malas. Most sit cross-legged on mats with hands folded in prayer, while a few young children in the foreground sit with eyes closed and hands together. Brass puja plates holding flower petals, lamps and small offerings are placed on the floor in front. Two large screens at the back display an image of a deity, and a framed picture hangs on the wall. No single presenter in ceremonial clothing can be clearly distinguished in the crowd.
