Photograph of a richly decorated deity murti of Shiva and Parvati in a temple, both gold-faced with gold crowns, heavy gold necklaces and garlands; the Shiva figure holds a trident and raises a hand in blessing while the Parvati figure wears red and pink silk. A dark stone shivalingam stands in front, and a long arch of multicoloured flower garlands surrounds them. In the foreground several priests in saffron and red dhotis with bare upper bodies perform abhishekam and puja, one holding a mala of rudraksha and flowers. A devotee wearing a red and gold shawl stands at left.
