Behind them stand a line of people in white clothes, with a central figure in a saffron-orange robe facing the ceremony and another in a white robe with yellow shawl near a white pillar. Colourful balloons in pink, yellow and purple hang from banana-leaf decorated posts. Tall trees, palms and a blue sky fill the background.

A bald man in saffron/orange robes stands at the centre near a white-draped altar with a kalasha-like offering and garlands, while a woman in orange sits or kneels at the altar. Around them men in white dhotis and kurtas, some with orange shawls, stand with hands folded, and a woman in pink sari and another in yellow stand at right. White banana-tree trunks with pink, yellow and orange balloons frame the scene, with trees and a flagpole behind. The saffron-robed man is visibly a monastic priest, but his identity cannot be confirmed from appearance, so no a person claim is made.2011-01-15Outdoor ritual on a flat white-paved ground filled with rows of black stone shivalingams set on yoni pitha bases.
