A large seated congregation fills a tented hall at the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam camp, with devotees sitting cross-legged on colourful striped mats. Most wear white dhotis or kurtas with red or orange shawls and lanyards, while several sādhus in saffron robes sit at the front; one front-right man wears saffron with a rudraksha mala and another in an orange-brown vest wears a beaded mala. Some men have tilak and white vibhuti markings, and a golden ornate shrine or throne with a deity murti stands at the top left.
