A domestic room with cream walls and a maroon sofa where a person in an orange-red turban and saffron-red cloth sits, with a green leaf tucked into the turban. Two garlanded devotees stand in the foreground: a young man in a white shirt with a white and orange-red flower garland, and a man in a white shirt with a similar garland, bending forward as an older woman in a white and orange garland is also present. Behind them a man in a white dhoti and rudraksha mala and another man in white and orange-gold cloth assist, and a cameraman with a flash camera records the moment. Pink petals lie on the sofa seat.

A seated devotee in a white shirt with a red and white flower garland bows his head while a figure in an orange-red turban, orange robe, rudraksha beads and white jasmine garland places a hand on his hair. The figure wears gold bangles and earrings and a gold-bordered orange cloth. Behind them a man in a white shirt photographs with a Canon camera and flash, another man in white looks on, and a figure in orange-and-gold dhoti with a rudraksha mala stands by a glass display cabinet holding brass lamps and small deity figures. Fresh flowers sit on a side table near the doorway.2014-07-03July 03 20142014-07-03A photograph of a devotional reception inside a small room with white walls. In the foreground, a man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-red cloth and multiple rudraksha malas, sits smiling while a gold armlet is visible on his arm; he appears to be the honoured figure seated before the crowd. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and saffron-orange clothing, though the appearance is only partly visible. A young man in a white dhoti and shirt wearing a rudraksha mala and a garland of white and red flowers bends forward with hands folded. A woman in a white sari with a garland and bangles stands beside him. Behind them, saffron-clad young men with shaved heads and tilak marks, a man photographing with a camera, a boy in a green shirt, and other onlookers crowd the room. Small red petals and a cardboard box of fruit sit on the floor.2014-07-02 +1 copiesJune 21 20142014-06-21 +1 copiesA photograph of a padapuja in a small home room with pale walls and framed religious pictures on the wall. A man in a deep orange turban and orange-red robe sits on a dark red seat, garlanded with white and pink flower necklaces and wearing gold armlets. Devotees bend close to him: a man in a white shirt with a garland, a woman in an orange sari holding a small child, and an elderly woman at the left edge. Behind them, saffron-robed attendants with rudraksha malas stand near a wooden tray holding offerings and small items. A man on the right holds a camera with a flash. Five to six devotees and attendants are visible in the scene.2014-07-03July 04 20142014-07-04 +1 copiesA photograph taken indoors in a small room with white walls and a wooden cabinet with flowers and small figurines on the left. A seated figure in the centre wears an orange-red turban, a white garland of flowers and a green leaf on the forehead, and sits on a red-cushioned sofa while people crowd around. Devotees surround him: a young woman in a green and pink sari with a dot on her forehead and gold jewellery, a woman in a red blouse with a white flower garland in her hair, an elderly woman with grey hair at the right edge, and a young man in an orange robe with rudraksha beads kneeling close by. A man in a white shirt holds a video camera at centre, and a shaven-headed man in orange and white stands in the background near the doorway. The scene suggests a padapuja with devotees gathered around a seated teacher.2014-07-03A seated man in a deep maroon robe and matching maroon-red turban, wearing a long white and red flower garland with a green leaf sprig at his temple, blesses a bald devotee in a white shirt with a rudraksha mala who bows his head toward him. Behind them, a woman in an orange blouse and white sari with a braid holds a plate, and a figure in orange robes with rudraksha malas and a camera stands at left among offering trays of fruit and sweets. Pink and white flower garlands drape the seated figure's chair, and a tray of rose petals sits at right beside metal puja vessels. This appears to be a padapuja, a devotee ritual of washing or honouring the feet of a teacher. Several people are visible, and the seated man in maroon matches the page's appearance-based cues only loosely, so identity is uncertain.2014-07-03A crowded indoor room with cream walls and a doorway at upper left. A seated figure in an orange-red turban, with a garland of white flowers and orange-saffron robes, sits on a maroon-upholstered couch receiving padapuja. Devotees in white garments and colourful blouses crowd around in the foreground; a woman in a white top with a long braid and a young woman in a purple blouse with gold necklace and earrings stand close. Several young men in white shirts with garlands, one bald with a tilak, kneel or stand near a wooden box and offerings. A cameraman with a flash camera stands in the background.2014-07-03
