A photograph of an excavation trench at the base of a large banyan tree with aerial roots hanging from its branches. Freshly dug red-brown earth lies between low stone-block walls, with dressed grey stone slabs stacked along the trench edges and a pile of cut stones in a sunken corner. A small dark cavity sits at the foot of the trunk. A single woman in white clothing sits on a raised platform at the upper right, beside a metal railing and a flower-garlanded shrine area.

A photograph of weathered grey sandstone blocks at an ancient temple site, heavily overgrown by thick tree roots and vines that wrap around and cover the stacked stones. Green leaves and small plants grow between the blocks, and a wooden plank walkway runs along the right edge with fallen dry leaves scattered on it. No people are visible in the scene.
