A street procession on a city road lined with trees and shops. Men in white dhotis and white shirts, some with orange sashes and rosette badges, walk along the centre of the road, with orange flags carried among them. Women in white saris with orange borders walk on the left, and a uniformed police officer in khaki stands at the roadside. A motorcycle rider and a large truck are visible behind the marchers, and a camera operator with a Leica camera is in the left foreground. A sign or scene element suggests a ratha paada yatra; the figures appear as devotees and attendants rather than as a clearly identifiable individual.
