A woman in a red top and striped headscarf bends over a heap of stones, while another woman in a pink top and yellow skirt works nearby. Two men, one in a blue shirt and one in a yellow shirt, crouch and stand near a concrete curb edged in red, with power tools and an orange cable on the ground. A young boy in a dusty khaki shirt watches at right beside potted palms and black plant containers. Beside him stand two men: one in a blue shirt and jeans, the other in a white sleeveless vest and light trousers, both wearing head wraps. Rusty steel reinforcement rods rise on the left, and piles of stone and white sacking lie on the right. Behind is a wooden pole fence, green field grass and orange-roofed buildings. No ceremony or deity is visible.2010-08-21July 20 20092009-07-20Outdoor photograph of a temple construction site in bright daylight. Workers lay large flat grey granite slabs on a dusty ground in the foreground; one man in a white vest bends with a long tool while a shirtless worker crouches beside the stones. A tall robed figure in saffron-orange clothing stands in the middle distance near a small stone platform with a deity murti-like pedestal and a kalasha-style structure, under a thatched shade canopy hung with strings of marigold garlands and small lamps. Chain-link fencing, palm trees and a red-walled building frame the scene.2016-11-18November 10 20112011-11-10December 17 20092009-12-17Outdoor construction site with workers laying grey stone blocks and paving on a long flight of red-and-white painted steps.
