A crowd of devotees surrounds a smiling woman in a dark red sari wearing a long garland of red and white flowers. Above them hang green banana bunches and leafy banana-tree fronds forming a canopy at a street-side event. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis press forward with folded hands, and a shaved-headed man in orange-saffron cloth with a rudraksha mala stands near the left. A yellow banner with Tamil text is visible at the left edge. Bright sunlight and a crowded, jostling scene fill the frame.
