March 23 20082008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23A seated figure with long dark hair and an orange sleeveless robe places his right hand on the head of a kneeling man in a brown shirt who holds his palms together in namaste. The man in orange with long hair is a probable Swamiji by appearance cues: long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, shown in an act of blessing. Around them, a man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala holds up a small card, another man in white stands behind, and a younger man in orange with a red shawl watches. A standing figure in orange and red draped cloth is behind, with a white-draped table holding fruit and a bowl at right, and a red curtain and yellow cloth in the background. A trident-topped object is visible at upper right. Devotees attend a darshan blessing in a hall, with a partially visible audience at lower left.2008-03-23A photograph of a healing or blessing moment in an indoor hall with a red-curtained backdrop. A long-haired figure in saffron orange clothing reaches out and rests a hand on the head of a seated man in a white shirt who has his palms pressed together in prayer. Behind them, two men in orange robes with red sashes stand attending, one with a shaved head, and a flower arrangement sits on a table. Other onlookers in white and orange are at the edges, and a fan stands at left. Because the page names a Swamiji presence at this event and the figure matches several visible cues including long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, this is a probable Swamiji (probable) performing the blessing, as a sannyasi giving a blessing to a devotee.2008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23A seated man in an orange sleeveless top and orange shawl with long dark hair places his right hand on the head of a shaved-headed man in a white shirt and white dhoti, who has his hands folded at his chest and wears a black rudraksha-style mala. A man in a white shirt with a badge and a white-shirted helper hold a paper or card near them. An orange-robed attendant stands behind, and a woman in the foreground watches. Behind them are a white altar draped in cloth with a small tray of offerings, a red curtain, and a trident-topped object at the right edge. Printed booklets lie in the lower right. The seated figure shows distinctive long swept hair and orange robes, a person cue, while the blessing is a healing or initiation-style darshan.2008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23Indoor healing session at an ashram stage with a red curtain behind. A long-haired man in an orange robe and rudraksha mala sits at right, one hand raised over the head of a seated man in a pink shirt who bows with hands at his chest. A younger shaved-headed man in orange with a red shawl sits behind them, and a woman in white with a yellow shawl stands at back beside a vase of pink roses. A tray of offerings and a small clock sit on a white-draped table, and a trishula hangs on the white canopy at right. Devotees and a printed brochure are in the foreground. The page does not confirm the identity of the orange-robed healer, and his face is not used for identification.2008-03-23March 23 20082008-03-23Indoor darshan scene at an ashram hall.
