A street-side outdoor ritual on a raised red stage in front of a gilded, ornately carved shrine canopy. Two deity murtis stand in the shrine, draped in red and gold cloth and heavily garlanded with pink and red flower strands; one carries a trident-like staff. Fruit trays, bananas, bowls and flowers are set on the stage in front of them. A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at left, and a second man in white holds a fan or cloth beside the shrine. Several devotees sit on the ground at lower right with palms pressed together in namaskar, and a large portrait photograph on a stand beside the stage shows a smiling man in a white turban and dark blue embroidered sherwani. The setting appears to be a Sri Vidya or homa-style puja in progress.
