A seated figure in a rust-red turban and rust-red and gold robe, with multiple beaded necklaces and gold bangles, smiles and reaches to touch the face of a kneeling man in a white shirt at lower right. Their right hand rests on a knee while a man in a grey shirt, leaning forward, touches their extended hand near a large gold lion-headed seat arm. Behind them a framed portrait of a smiling figure in a red turban is decorated with orange marigold garlands, and a gold throne backrest is visible. A bald man in white with a sandalwood and kumkum forehead mark stands at left, partly visible. The turbaned figure is in a probable Swamiji (probable) appearance, shown with long swept-back hair under a turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace, in a seated ritual setting.2014-03-06A seated figure in a red turban and red-and-gold saffron robes, with a long rudraksha mala and gold ornaments, smiles while placing a hand on the head of a man in a white shirt and glasses who is bowing forward. Behind them, a standing attendant in saffron robes and a gold-beaded necklace holds a tall gold staff. At centre, a shaven-headed priest in orange-red cloth with a gold necklace and vibhuti marks sits before a tall brass oil lamp (deepam) and a brass kalasha-style stand. A gilded carved panel and maroon drapes form the backdrop. The seated figure in the turban matches the cues of a person, so the figure is labelled a probable Swamiji on the throne.October 13 20152015-10-13
