A photograph of a temple abhishekam at a Shiva shrine. A bare-chested priest in a pink silk dhoti with a purple and green sash and red flower garland pours water from a golden vessel over a dark black lingam, while a second man in a dark garment assists beside him. Strings of white jasmine garlands drape the lingam. In the foreground stands a small bronze utsava murti of a deity in a red and gold embroidered garment with jewelled ornaments and a white garland, set before an ornate bronze arched backrest. Ornate jewelled and gold-decorated figures stand in the background, and an orange cloth with a beaded ornament lies at lower left.2018-04-14April 14 20182018-04-14 +1 copiesA long-haired man in an orange sleeveless-style saffron garment and a white flower garland pours water from a metal vessel over a dark black shivalinga on a silver base, performing abhishekam.
