A construction site beside a building with a dark maroon door and open steel-framed structure. A young boy in a light shirt and dark shorts strikes a brick with a hammer on the ground. A man in a striped shirt stands waist-deep in a trench digging with a tool, while a shirtless man in a blue checked lungi and another man in a red striped shirt and dark trousers bend over stacked red bricks. A standing man in a white shirt watches. Red-brown earth, a motorcycle, piles of grey blocks and a terracotta bucket surround them. A white stamp-like mark is visible on the soil.

A construction site on open dusty ground. Stacks of red clay bricks are arranged along a concrete foundation plinth, with a small cream-walled structure with a red sloping roof behind them. Four workers are visible: one in a light blue shirt standing at left, one in a green shirt beside the brick stacks, one in a yellow-green shirt bending over the concrete slab at right, and one in a checked shirt standing at far right. A blue bucket sits on the slab, and a pile of excavated earth lies in the foreground. Thatched-roof houses, palm trees and a green-roofed building appear in the background under a pale sky.

A construction site at Adikailaasa with workers building a stone-faced low wall and block walls on bare red earth. A man in a white shirt, white dhoti and green head cloth shovels near the granite-stone foundation, while another man crouches to work on the wall at right. Other workers stand among heaps of sand and gravel and loose granite blocks, with a blue plastic drum and parked trucks in the background under a cloudy sky.

A photograph of a construction site with red earth mounds, excavated trenches and exposed rebar. A tall figure in an orange robe and orange headwear stands at center, with a line of people in orange and white clothing nearby. Several workers in white dhotis and shirts, and others in darker clothes, stand or work around the pits, with a blue plastic bucket and a pile of gravel and stones behind. Palm and leafy trees and a low pink building appear in the background under a hazy sky.

Outdoor photograph of a temple construction site with a dense tree line and palm trees behind a low concrete boundary wall. In the foreground, a bare-headed man in a white shirt stands with his back to the camera, facing workers who kneel and crouch on fresh concrete and sand. A man in a green cloth head wrap and grey shirt stands nearby. On the right, a figure with long curly hair wears an orange robe and holds a long tool, while a worker in a white shirt and green-grey cloth bends beside a mound of red-brown earth. Several men in white and orange robes stand in a group on the left near the wall. Light blue tarpaulin and scaffolding sit at the back of the site.

A daytime outdoor construction site with bare red-brown earth mounds and dirt paths under a clear sky, with a tall metal water tank on a stand and lamp posts among trees. Many people work and walk across the site: several devotees in saffron-orange robes and shawls, others in white clothing, and workers in grey and checked shirts. A woman in white stands at left near the mounds, and a worker in a white head cloth bends over the earth in the foreground, while a person in a pink head cloth kneels at bottom left. Concrete foundation walls and poles are visible in the background.

A construction site at a temple foundation in dry red-earth terrain with palm trees behind. Workers mix and pour concrete from a blue barrel and a mound of grey mix at lower right. Several people in white dhotis and white shirts, some with orange cloth, carry baskets and stand among excavated trenches and concrete pillar forms. A yellow JCB excavator sits at the upper right beside scaffolding. Workers in striped shirts, a blue shirt and a head wrap also work the site.

An outdoor construction site with excavated reddish-brown earth piles and trenches where workers dig and carry soil. Several men in lungis and loose shirts work in the pit, one bending with a shovel and another carrying a basket. A crowd of devotees in white garments and some in saffron-orange robes stands along the far edge watching the work under a clear sky, with green trees and a tall light pole behind. Blue plastic drums and rebar stakes sit at the near edge. A figure in a saffron robe stands in the foreground near the excavation. No one is clearly identifiable as the a person from appearance alone.

A photograph of an open dirt site under a pale sky with scattered trees and boulders. Low walls of pale concrete blocks rise in a partial square, with heaps of red earth and gravel nearby. About five people in white clothing stand near the blocks; one figure at the centre wears an orange garment and another person in white stands at the left edge. Wooden stakes and a thatched hut appear at the right. No one is clearly identifiable as the a person from appearance, so the figure in orange is described only by role as a person in orange robes.

A photograph of an outdoor temple construction site with bare earth, mounds of gravel and wet concrete, and wooden formwork. A long-haired person in a saffron-orange garment with a bare upper body stands in the centre, reaching down with one hand toward the mixed material while stepping onto it in sandals. Nearby, an older man in a white head cloth, teal shirt and checked lungi works beside the pile with a tool. Around them, men in white dhotis and white shirts, and several in saffron-orange shawls, stand or move about the site, and one man in a maroon shirt gestures with an outstretched arm. Trees and a low wall form the background, with timber and small structures scattered across the ground.
