Photograph taken at dusk outdoors among a crowd of devotees. In the foreground a long-haired man wearing an orange-and-maroon wrap over his shoulders and a rudraksha mala necklace stands with his back partly turned, holding out his hand toward an older man in a white shirt on the left, while holding a small bundle of blue-and-yellow boxes of crackers wrapped in clear plastic with a yellow ribbon. Behind him, a younger man in white with an orange shawl gestures, and several other people in white clothes, a woman in a dark sari and a child stand nearby under darkening blue sky and trees. The scene suggests Deepavali festivities with crackers being distributed to devotees. The Swamiji candidate in the foreground has distinctive long swept-back hair, orange-and-maroon clothing and a rudraksha mala, so the appearance-based label applies.
