A large seated group of devotees in saffron-orange clothing sits in a courtyard with orange-washed walls and a stone bench at right. Many wear rudraksha malas and beaded necklaces; some women have hair in long braids or buns with red flowers. Several people look toward the front, some with hands folded or resting on their laps. A small rounded stone structure and bare branches are visible behind them. No clear a person figure is identifiable in this frame, so the presence of a person is unsure.

A courtyard gathering of many women in saffron-orange saris and shawls, many wearing rudraksha malas and marigold garlands. Most sit closely on steps and the ground, watching a shrine area with an ornate silver-and-wood canopy and carved golden pillars. A figure in orange stands at the upper left beside the canopy. In the foreground a woman with long hair sits and holds prayer beads. Brass pots, a kalasha-like vessel, a camera on a tripod and personal bags lie near the seated women. Red walls and a tree frame the scene.

A photograph of a homa fire ritual in a courtyard at night. A square stone fire pit with glowing embers sits in the foreground, surrounded by brass vessels, kalasha-style pots, a yellow bowl and small plates of offerings. Behind it, a central figure with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron robe, ornate gold necklaces and a rudraksha mala, sits on a silver-backed throne with a leopard-print cushion and raises a hand in blessing. Around them, rows of seated devotees in saffron and orange robes with gold borders hold their palms together and hold small bundles of sticks, while shaved-headed monks in orange sit to the left. A standing man in white with a ceremonial cloth and a long-handled item stands at the upper left, and string lights glow in the background.

Photograph of an outdoor pavilion of a temple courtyard with red walls and hanging brass bells and lamps. Thirty or more young students in saffron-orange robes sit cross-legged on a stone floor, several wearing gold necklaces and hair tied back. A large brass plate heaped with white flowers and a red petal sits in front of them. At the right, a bald man in saffron robes with a rudraksha-style necklace sits on a raised platform beside a robed teacher holding papers, while another robed person sits nearby. Brass ritual instruments and a tridentlike staff stand against the pillars.

Photograph of a courtyard gurukul session in a red-walled temple space with pillars, hanging brass bells and lamps. Dozens of young students in orange and saffron clothing sit in rows on the floor facing right. In front of them a large brass tray holds white flower petals with a red floral offering. On the right, a seated teacher in an orange robe and dark head covering sits on a raised platform beside a low wooden stand, and a bald attendant in orange sits near him writing on paper. Potted plants and a tree fill the background.
