December 12 20162016-12-12A close photograph of a hand raising a brass oil lamp with three flames during an evening gathering. The hand wears a wristwatch and a beaded bracelet, and the blurred background shows other people holding small lit lamps, with warm candlelike lights scattered across the dim room. No a person candidate is clearly visible in this frame.2011-02-02December 19 20132013-12-19Close-up photo of a brass oil lamp with three flames held in the cupped hands of a person in the foreground, the flames lit against a dark, blurred background. The lamp has a wide bowl on a tall stem, and the hands wear a little red at the fingertips. Blurred figures in the background suggest a ritual setting. Only the hands are visible, and no face of the person holding the lamp is shown clearly.2013-10-07December 22 20112011-12-22November 12 20102010-11-12November 12 20102010-11-12May 07 20132013-05-07January 19 20132013-01-19Close-up photograph of a hand holding a small brass plate with a lit clay oil lamp, its flame bright on the wick. Blurred hands and arms are raised in the background, some holding small lamps or offerings. Warm reddish and orange tones fill the soft-focus backdrop.2014-08-24Close view of many small clay oil lamps burning in a dark space, their flames flickering upward from shallow dark cups arranged in rows across a glossy surface. Warm orange light reflects off the wet-looking surface, with no people visible.2011-04-17Close-up photograph of two hands raising small brass oil lamps with lit wicks, held aloft against a blurred interior background. The lamp on the left is held by a hand at the frame's edge; the right hand, with a dark wristband, holds a lamp with a flame at its centre. Out-of-focus heads of other people are visible at the bottom of the frame. The scene suggests a lamp-lighting offering during a devotional gathering.2017-08-04
