The woman wears a dark sari, a jasmine-style hair ornament, bangles, a nose ring and a bindi, with a flower garland around her neck. The man wears a short-sleeved shirt, a wristwatch and a garland of flowers. Behind them hang a cloth backdrop and a bamboo pole.2005-12-09A group photograph of eleven people posed in a small room with a striped cloth backdrop and thatched roof above. A seated young man in an orange-saffron robe sits centre-front on a folding chair, hands clasped in his lap and bare feet visible. Standing around him are men in white dhotis and shirts, one bare-chested man in a white dhoti and shawl, and a man in a blue checked shirt. A woman in a grey-brown silk sari with gold border and pearl necklace stands left, and an older woman in a blue sari with a red bindi stands far right. Two boys stand in front, one in a brown shirt and one in a white shirt. The seated man in orange is a person in ritual saffron dress; his appearance is not clearly identifiable from this image.A framed old sepia photograph, displayed behind glass, shows six men and one older woman seated and standing before a white building with a wooden door and lattice windows. The men wear rudraksha malas, ash-marked bodies and white or cream dhotis, some with headbands. The woman in a white sari sits at the centre-left. The photo is a print in a dark wooden frame with a copyright notice in the corner.2012-05-17Ramakrishna Paramahamsa1978 - TiruvannamalaiMay 24 20122012-05-24A vintage black-and-white photograph of six men posed in an indoor room with light curtains behind them. Seated in front on a sofa is a bare-chested man with a gold-toned pendant, a large rudraksha mala hanging to his waist and a white cloth draped over his shoulders, with a light-coloured turban-like wrap on his head. Behind him stand five men: one bare-chested on the far left with a beaded necklace and white cloth around his waist, two in light short-sleeved shirts, one in a plaid shirt, and one in a white T-shirt on the far right with a wristwatch. The seated man's appearance matches the page's reference to a person, but his identity is uncertain from appearance alone, so he is described by role and marked unsure.2012-05-24A group of four adults and a toddler seated on a patterned mat in front of a sofa draped with white covers in a plain room with pale green walls and a red curtain. A young man in the centre wears a saffron-orange sannyasi robe and a large pink flower garland, raising one hand in greeting while barefoot. To his left, a man in a white shirt and lavender dhoti wears a rudraksha mala and smiles with hands clasped. A woman in a white sari with a gold border holds a laughing toddler in a blue-striped outfit. At right, a smiling woman in a white sari with a red bindi and a rudraksha mala sits beside them.2009-01-10A blurred, grainy photograph of a woman in a yellow garment with a dark head covering, seated before a backdrop of flowers and an orange-cushioned seat. Her face is turned slightly toward the camera with a faint smile, and she appears to wear a headset or earpiece. The scene looks like a screen capture of video footage, with soft focus and colour blending in the background.
