The black-faced murti wears a brown turban-like crown, a white and silver embellished garment, layered beaded necklaces, and a teal-blue lower garment. Strands of yellow and red flower garlands hang over its shoulders and arms, and gold ornaments adorn its hands. The figure sits on a gold-decorated pedestal set on a red base. Dark trees and metal barricades surround the outdoor setting, and a person in orange clothing is partially visible at the right edge.2017-01-08July 11 20102010-07-11Outdoor photo beneath shady trees showing a deity murti seated on a golden throne (peetha) within a decorated arch, garlanded with yellow, orange, red and green marigold and flower strands. This is a deity murti, not a living person.2017-01-08Outdoor shrine under dense tree canopy showing a gilded Dakshinamurthi murti seated on a golden pedestal, with a white arched stone frame and a magenta cloth backdrop. The deity wears an orange-red headcloth and is garlanded with red and yellow flower garlands. Two people in white attend it: a woman in a white sari on the left arranges the garland at the figure's shoulder, and a man in a white dhoti with green-striped border stands on the right at the base. A third woman in a yellow-bordered sari stands at the right edge. A black plaque in front reads Dakshinamurthi shrine with an Om symbol, and the base sits on red-orange painted stones.2010-08-19A photograph of a shrine set among trees in an outdoor setting.
