On the far left a man in a white dhoti and shirt stands with hands at his sides. Next to him a young sannyasi in saffron robe and orange shawl wears a rudraksha mala and sandals. The bare-chested older man beside him wears an orange cloth and a long sacred thread, with a rudraksha mala around his neck, and his face is bearded and balding. The man at right of centre wears a saffron robe, a yellow-brown turban and a rudraksha mala, with a long grey beard. On the far right a man in a white checked shirt and dark trousers stands at the edge. A man in a white shirt stands partly visible in the background above the rubble. The scene looks like a casual outdoor gathering at a construction site.Kailasa Paramparagatha Kanchee Kailasa Sarvajnapeetham +1 copiesA photograph of an unpaved dirt road running through a cleared construction site with bare, excavated earth on both sides. A man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange robe with a white beaded necklace and stands at the centre, gesturing as he talks. Beside him, a bald man in an orange robe with red border faces him, and another orange-robed man with a red-bordered cloth stands with hands folded. Two men in white dhotis and white shirts stand at right, one holding his hands together. Behind them are a black stone statue, a signboard, potted plants and red-and-white barrier poles. The setting is flat open land with trees and a hazy sky.2001-04-14A group of about twenty people walks along a dirt path lined with coconut palms and a low stone wall. In the centre, a man in an orange saffron robe with an orange head covering and a beaded necklace walks barefoot beside a bare-chested older man wearing a white dhoti and a rudraksha-style necklace. Around them, men in white shirts and white dhotis, and others in dark trousers and shirts, walk together. On the right, two people in orange robes walk barefoot.
