A large seated congregation fills a tent-like hall with blue mats, many people with hands pressed in anjali or folded in prayer. Men in white kurtas and saffron-bordered shawls sit in rows, some wearing rudraksha malas, while women in saris and salwar kameez sit among them and several boys in light shirts sit near the front. Banners of framed portraits of a woman hang on the side walls, and a dark deity murti sits on a shrine at the far end. Strings of colourful paper lanterns and fabric hangings decorate the ceiling. Behind the rows, a pale-yellow stall-like structure stands at the left.
