A procession of men in white sleeveless vests and yellow-and-white dhoti cloths, each wearing yellow and red marigold garlands and green leaf garlands, carries clay pots with decorated lids on their heads. Many of the pots are perforated and emit smoke or flame at their tops. Some bearers hold bunches of green leaves. Behind them, other men in white shirts and dark-patterned shirts walk in the crowd, and a decorated canopy with flower garlands and peacock-feather plumes appears at the top of the frame. Several bearers have red and white sacred marks on their foreheads.
