Outdoor photograph of a temple ritual on a concrete platform beside brick walls, with exposed wiring running along the edge. A bare-chested priest in white dhoti and striped cloth holds a woven basket of offerings while a man in a light shirt gestures toward him. Behind them an older man in white shirt and white shawl stands with glasses, and to the right a man in an orange turban and saffron cloth stands beside an older bearded man in orange robes and rudraksha malas. A younger man in white with long hair wears an orange shawl, and a seated man in glasses and white clothes sits in the foreground. The scene appears to be a temple ceremony with sadhus and devotees.

Hindu ritual setting, possibly preparatory temple work.2008-02-18Outdoor bhoomi puja on bare dirt ground beside a green metal gate and parked silver SUV, with trees behind. A man with long swept-back hair, bare-chested and wearing an orange saffron cloth wrap, holds yellow flowers over a ground stone shrine setup marked with orange-red marigold garlands, a brass pot and a plate of offerings with apples, flowers and lamps. Two men in white dhotis and orange shawls perform the rite; one in a white shirt-and-dhoti stands near, and a woman in a yellow-and-cream sari with a man in a white shirt and brown trousers stand with palms pressed together, plus a few children watching. The man in the orange wrap is a person candidate by long swept hair, saffron cloth and distinctive bare-chested ceremonial dress, but identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2008-04-04Crowded indoor hall at a healing and blessing event. In the foreground, a devotee in white clothes bows forward with head lowered while a woman in an orange shawl places her hand on his head. Beside them, a young man in orange shawl holds a small white card or paper and a clasped hand gesture appears. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so no candidate is marked.2008-03-28A crowd gathers outdoors on a temple platform in bright daylight. In the centre, a figure in a long orange robe and an orange turban stands with their back to the camera, one hand raised to touch a devotee's head. Beside them a person in white dhoti and white shirt with an orange shawl stands near, and a bare-chested man with a gold necklace turns toward the group. Many men in white dhotis and shirts, some women in saris, and onlookers surround them. A man in a navy shirt stands at the right edge. The scene suggests a blessing during a temple gathering, with the orange-clad central figure appearing to be a sannyasi giving blessings to devotees.2008-02-18A photograph at an outdoor temple construction site, with a large unfinished temple tower under scaffolding in the background. In the foreground, a figure in a saffron-orange robe and an orange head wrap stands on a raised concrete platform, facing down toward two bare-chested men in white dhotis with orange borders who stand below in a sunken pit. A third man in a white shirt and light trousers stands at the left edge. A crowd of people in white dhotis, white shirts and dark trousers gathers on the concrete slab and the surrounding ground, and some hold cameras. Marigold petals and orange items lie on the concrete. The figure in orange has long dark hair and appears to be a person, based on the saffron robe, orange head wrap and long hair, in a presiding role over the ritual in the pit.2008-02-18December 20 20112011-12-20October 09 20082008-10-09April 04 20082008-04-04March 26 20082008-03-26Outdoor photo on a flat concrete rooftop of a temple under construction, with rows of white ornamental finials along the parapet and a stone shikhara-style tower at top.
