A photograph of a homa ritual at a temple. A flaming fire burns in a foil-lined tray in the centre, with a large brass vessel of golden liquid in the foreground and a brass dish holding a lit oil lamp at left. A steel bowl of chopped offering pieces sits beside the fire. Behind, a golden kalasha-like vessel stands on a red silk cloth printed with OM NAMO NARAYANA. Partially visible at the top is a seated figure wearing red garments and a flower garland, and a few other people are only partly in frame. The setting is an ornate patterned carpet and garlands.
