Vibhuti or sandalwood marks decorate his forehead. Behind him a second person with short dark hair leans in at a wooden cabinet. On the right stands audio mixing equipment with illuminated knobs and sliders, and an orange-clad figure appears at the lower left edge. A brass bell or lamp sits on the floor at the bottom left. The setting appears to be a room within an ashram, consistent with a satsang or padapuja gathering.2010-10-16A photograph, rotated sideways, showing two shaved-headed men in white ritual clothing with maroon borders. The foreground man wears a rudraksha mala around his neck, a red-beaded bracelet, and white sacred ash markings on his forehead, and his hands are pressed together near his face in a reverent gesture. Behind him, a second man with short dark hair stands with his palms joined. The setting includes a wooden cabinet, audio equipment with lit indicator lights, and white cloth. The visible white-and-maroon attire and bare-headed appearance do not clearly match the appearance cues needed to identify any person, so the individuals are described by role only.2010-10-16December 21 20122012-12-21A photograph of a stage with dark red velvet curtains on the right and a navy curtain on the left. A shaved-headed man in white dhoti and white upper cloth stands at center holding a black handheld microphone, head tilted upward. Beside him, a second shaved-headed man wearing a white dhoti with red border, bare-chested, walks away toward a doorway. A white garment hangs on the curtain rail behind them, and a projection screen is visible at upper right.2010-09-08December 20 20122012-12-20Photograph of a seated group of men in white ritual dress with red-bordered white cloths, many with white ash markings on their foreheads and bodies. In the foreground a bald man with eyes closed holds his palms together in anjali mudra, with a rudraksha-style mala and red and gold bracelets. Other men beside and behind him sit with hands folded or in prayer. Blue containers and brass vessels rest on the floor. Behind them, a seated audience in a hall with red curtains and a window is visible. No one is clearly identifiable as a person in this frame, so no candidate is named.2010-09-16Photograph of two men standing with palms pressed together in anjali mudra before a red curtain in an indoor hall. The man on the left is shaved-headed, wears a rust-red sannyasi cloth, a rudraksha mala with a pendant, rudraksha bracelets, and white ash markings on his forehead and arms. The man on the right has long swept-back hair, a small red bindi, earrings, a gold bangle and a white dhoti-style wrap with an orange border. A partially visible person in orange clothing stands at the right edge, and folded bedding sits at the left.2013-05-31Two shaved-headed men sit cross-legged in prayer with palms pressed together at their chests, eyes closed, in a pūjā-style setting. Both wear white dhoti and shawl-like cloth with gold borders, rudraksha malas, gold bangles and white sacred ash markings on the forehead and arms. The man on the left wears thin-rimmed glasses. A brass bell and ritual items sit at the lower right against a deep red wall. Two people are visible.2011-11-28
