February 25 20182018-02-25A photograph of a ritual scene before a large silver cobra hood with red gem eyes, against a gold-painted wall and wooden doors. A bearded man with a dark turban and a rudraksha mala, wearing an orange-brown robe and a flower garland of white and red blossoms, sits cross-legged with hands raised in a blessing gesture. A woman in a yellow-bordered sari stands at the right with joined palms. Three bare-chested male attendants in white dhotis with gold borders stand at left, one holding a plate and another with a hand on a devotee's back. Several figures are visible on the right behind the scene. Abhishekam-style temple ritual setting.2018-02-25May 24 20182018-05-24A photograph of a ceremonial ritual at a temple-style stage. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes, with a dark head wrap, a rudraksha-style bead necklace, and a white and green garland, sits on a red seat before a large silver cobra-hood backdrop with red gemstone eyes and crown-like tips. Three young men in white dhotis with gold borders and bare upper bodies stand beside him; one pours or sprinkles water from a small vessel, and another has white marks smeared on his chest and arms. A woman in a white sari with gold border stands at the right, hands folded in greeting. Gold-painted columns and colourful panels frame the scene.2018-02-25December 10 20172017-12-10February 25 20182018-02-25February 02 20162016-02-02December 10 20172017-12-10 +1 copiesA seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching orange turban sits on an ornate golden throne with a tall gilded back before dark red drapes. He wears a long layered rudraksha-style mala and a gold ceremonial necklace, and one hand is extended. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and saris with gold borders bow and attend: a man in white with a gold-bordered dhoti rests a hand on the head of a bowing person in white, and a woman in a white sari holds up a small paper, while others in orange garments stand nearby. A brass lamp stands at the left and a gold-edged dais sits below the throne. The appearance matches the a person cues of saffron clothing, turban and mala on the throne, so the seated figure is a person in person.2015-11-22June 26 20172017-06-26April 03 20172017-04-03A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe and matching turban with a red-and-white jewel sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, eyes closed, wearing layered rudraksha-style beaded malas and a gold ceremonial necklace. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and shawls with green-and-gold borders bend and touch his feet or place hands on his shoulder; a woman in an orange sari with gold border stands at right, and a man in white with a white headband bows at left. Deep red velvet drapes and gold lamp stands frame the scene. Appearance-based cues of a saffron robe, turban and ornate necklace on the throned figure are consistent with a person, though the appearance is not certain. The image is a photograph of a devotional darshan with devotees bowing at his feet.2015-11-22
