A seated priest with bare upper body and a red-brown sacred thread sits on a yellow cloth, bent forward with his head down. Three people kneel around him: a woman in a blue blouse and red sari at left, a woman in a white sari in the centre, and a man in an olive-green shirt and white dhoti at right, who appear to be assisting or receiving the ritual. Tall brass oil lamps stand on the floor and a brass vessel sits on a red-draped platform with flowers and green leaves. At left a large seated deity murti in gold and red garments stands near the ritual area, and at right three standing deity figures with golden crowns and red-orange garments are displayed. A man in red-saffron cloth with long swept-back hair, a gold chain and a beaded mala sits on a red-cushioned gold throne, holding green leaves over a metal vessel as a shirtless, bare-backed man with curly hair and a white-and-pink flower garland faces him with folded hands. Behind them is a shrine with a deity murti of a seated couple, a kalasha-like altar and carved stone pillars, with white bull statues atop the shrine. This appears to be an abhishekam or puja setting.2017-09-11A temple shrine scene where two priests in traditional white dhoti attire perform ritual dressing of deity murtis. The shorter priest on the left wears a white dhoti with a maroon border and glasses, adjusting a crown on a bronze deity seated on a blue cloth and garlanded with white jasmine and red flower strings. The bare-chested priest on the right wears a white dhoti with a yellow sash over his shoulder and a rudraksha mala, with his hands near the second seated bronze figure in red and gold garments. Behind them, a tall black stone deity wearing a silver crown, jewelled necklaces and a blue garment stands in an arched gold niche with yellow drapery, and a dark figure in a colourful garland sits at the upper left beneath ornate pillars.
