Photo of an indoor exhibition or vendor stall with a white tent backdrop and framed photographs on the walls. In the centre, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange-and-saffron wrap, a gold ceremonial necklace, a large rudraksha mala and a blue wristband, and holds a small gold object while speaking. Beside him, a bald man in an orange robe and a red-and-orange shawl with a mala and bangles gestures in conversation. Before them are a laptop, a display of red and gold items, small red-cushioned boxes, and red fabric and flowers in the foreground. Two or three other men in white and orange-red shawls are visible in the background. The central figure matches Swamiji (probable) by his long hair, ceremonial gold necklace and saffron clothing; the bald companion and background figures are devotees.2015-07-08August 09 20072007-08-09December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04December 30 20072007-12-30A small plain room with off-white walls. A long-haired figure in an orange-saffron garment with a yellow-orange beaded necklace sits cross-legged on the floor at left, gesturing with one hand toward two women standing at right. The woman in the centre wears a mustard-gold sari with a red bindi; the woman at right wears a red sari with a pink-and-gold border and holds a folded cloth. On the right, a metal shelf holds a brass oil lamp, a small bottle, and purple garlands hang along the edge. Metal bowls and a pink cloth lie on the floor near the seated figure.2006-12-04A photograph inside a white-walled room at a house visit. A wall-mounted shrine with framed deity pictures is decorated with white and marigold garlands, and flowers and offerings sit at its base. In the centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe with a marigold garland stands with hands folded in namaste before the shrine. In the foreground, a figure with long dark hair wears an orange robe with a pink-edged shawl and faces the shrine. On the right, an older man in white shirt and white dhoti folds his hands in prayer beside a silver tray holding a kalasha-style arrangement with flowers. a person: the central figure in saffron-orange with long swept-back hair and a marigold garland is a candidate for a person, though the cues are limited.2010-02-17August 09 20072007-08-09A standing man in an orange and gold-bordered silk garment stands beside a stone-edged altar at an indoor ashram-style setting. He wears a red bindi, long swept-back dark hair, a tiered rudraksha mala across the chest, and rudraksha bracelets on his wrists and upper arm. Beside him, a tall brass oil lamp, brass kalasha-style vessels and a small white seated deity murti stand on the altar. Behind him are a red wall and a whiteboard covered in handwriting.2011-11-15 +1 copiesA seated man in long dark hair and saffron-orange robes, wearing a rudraksha mala, sits on a wooden chair on an orange mat during a puja. He holds a lit match or taper over brass and silver ritual vessels, including a brass kalasha-style lamp, a silver bowl and a tray with a red liquid. Two women in saris sit behind him, and large deity murti with red and gold garments stand in the background. The swami's appearance is suggestive but not conclusive, and the figure is best described as a priest performing ritual worship.2007-11-12A photograph of a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing indoors beside a gold-coloured statue of a standing figure wearing an orange robe, a rudraksha mala, and a tall gold crown-like headdress. Behind them is a draped purple-maroon curtain, a gold ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a gold throne-like seat with a red cushion, brass ritual items, a brass oil lamp, and a floral offering at the statue's base. Colourful woven-patterned hangings hang along the upper wall. The living man appears to be an in-person devotee or sannyasi rather than a confirmed identity; the statue is a depiction.2006-08-22December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04April 22 20162016-04-22
