A photograph inside a tented hall at a Kumbh Mela camp. A long-haired man in orange-saffron cloth and a beaded gold-toned neck garland sits on a red-cushioned gilded throne at left, holding a small object toward a silver ritual vessel decorated with a flower garland. A man in a white shirt and brown belt bends forward to offer something at the vessel. To the right, a shaved-headed young man in red-orange robes and a gold necklace reaches toward the offering. Behind them, a crowd of women in saris, shawls and salwar kameez stands watching. Pink towels and a folded red cloth lie on the throne.

A seated long-haired man in an orange-saffron shawl and a gold-beaded necklace on a gold-and-red throne receives a ritual offering from a man in a white shirt and dark trousers who bends forward and holds a gold kalasha-like vessel decorated with white flowers. Beside the throne, a man in an orange robe with a gold necklace holds a small object, and a crowd of women in saris, salwar kameez and headscarves stands behind a red backdrop. The seated figure is a person by appearance cues (long swept-back hair, saffron shawl, ornate gold necklace), receiving a padapuja-style offering on a red-covered seat. Red towels rest on the throne platform.

A photograph of a darshan moment indoors. A person with long swept-back dark hair, wearing an orange garment and a floral garland with yellow and red blooms, places a hand on the head of a uniformed man in khaki with his head bowed. Two other uniformed men in khaki stand nearby, one with a moustache, and a man in white with a rudraksha mala watches and reaches in. A grey-haired woman on the right presses her palms together. Several more people in white crowd behind, and an orange-red fruit is visible at the bottom. Swamiji (probable) is the person in orange with the garland, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and garland cues.

A photograph of a seated figure with long dreadlocked hair, a large rudraksha mala and an orange-brown garment, holding hands with a uniformed man in khaki shirt and cap who bends forward as if receiving blessing. Around them stand several onlookers with palms pressed together in namaste, one in a white kurta with a garland, others in cream and orange clothing, and a man photographing with a phone. Gold ornate furniture and a leopard-print cloth are visible at lower left. A probable Swamiji figure is present with the long hair, rudraksha mala and orange robe cues, seated in a ceremonial setting.

A crowded indoor hall full of devotees dressed in white. In the right foreground a long-haired figure in an orange-saffron dhoti and a red sleeveless top sits on a white cloth, extending a hand toward a seated woman in a white sari with a red-orange garland and a red bindi who holds a pink lotus. Around them men and women in white garments, some with orange shawls and rudraksha malas, press close; a man in white with a garland stands at left and a shaved-headed elder with white tilak on his forehead is at lower left. Light blue walls and a lattice window frame the scene.

A photograph of a room where a uniformed police officer in khaki shirt and trousers with a brown belt stands with hands together, receiving a blessing. A person in a bare-backed orange-saffron garment, with long dark hair, sits on a zebra-print cushioned seat and applies a mark or offers a blessing to the officer's hand. Behind them, other uniformed officers in khaki stand, and a bald man in orange robes with a rudraksha mala is partly visible at right. Seated devotees in white shirts and dhotis, some holding booklets, sit on the floor at left. A framed portrait stands near the right wall, and a pink floral garland lies on the floor.

A man with long dark hair and a crown-less head wears a saffron-orange garment with a large rudraksha or gold beaded necklace, and extends his right arm to bless a uniformed man in khaki shirt and trousers who bows low with his head bent and palms pressed together over his head. Behind them, a woman in a yellow sari and other devotees in orange and red shawls stand with folded hands. A man in an orange kurta with a gold necklace stands at the right. A camera on a tripod and a red backdrop are visible at the left, and a kalasha-like brass vessel with flower garlands sits in front.
