A woman with long dark hair, wearing a maroon and gold garment, bows her head while a large garland of red and white flowers, green leaves and a strand of yellow beads is placed around her neck by a man in a saffron-striped robe. Behind her, a shaved-headed attendant in an orange-red robe and rudraksha mala watches. At the right, a bald man in an orange-red robe with a rudraksha mala gestures with his hand. In the foreground, a bare-shouldered person with long dark hair and a red-and-pink flower garland sits with their back to the camera, reaching toward a red cloth spread on a table holding bananas, apples and white flowers. Beside them stands a person in a rust-orange robe with a large rudraksha mala, with a short-haired head covering, watching. An older woman in a white sari with light blue and gold borders bends forward, smiling, while a man in a white shirt with a white flower garland stands at the right edge. Nearby, a woman in a dark green sari with orange border stands beside a brass basket of flowers, and a woman in a yellow and orange sari with a white flower braid waits with hands pressed together. Other men in white shirts and dhotis stand behind, with banana plants and a white building in the background.2010-02-18A photograph of a ceremonial darshan on a red-cushioned seat beside a gold-painted panel. A long-haired man with a white forehead mark, wearing a red garment and layered gold and bead necklaces with rudraksha-style beads, bows his head while his hand rests on a woman's shoulder. In front, a short-haired woman in a brown top and orange shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Behind them, a woman in a white and gold sari with a gold necklace and a woman in a red sari hold white flower garlands or cloth and look on, with a few more women in colourful saris visible at the back. Green foliage decorates the left edge. The man shows strong cues of the a person appearance (long swept-back hair, rudraksha and gold ceremonial adornment), but the appearance is not certain enough to confirm identity.2016-05-11
