A young man in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap sits on a cushioned seat on a striped blue, red and green mat, smiling and speaking into a microphone on a stand with hands clasped. A bearded man in white kurta and white dhoti sits cross-legged at his left, looking toward him. Behind them stands a draped backdrop with a large painted deity figure and a blue-and-white peacock-like decoration. A figure in white is partially visible at the right edge. The setting suggests a satsang or discourse on a stage.2002-01-012003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01November 13 20082008-11-132003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-012003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01A seated man in a bright orange turban and matching orange shawl sits cross-legged on a ground covered in green leaves, eyes closed in meditation with a vertical tilak mark on his forehead. In the foreground, the back of a person in white clothes and dark hair faces him. Pink and yellow flower petals lie on the ground beside him against dark foliage. The man's clothing and turban match the saffron orange described for a sannyasi, and his posture and offerings suggest a seated ritual or satsang setting; the orange-robed figure is a person candidate based on the turban, saffron shawl and cross-legged seated posture.2002-01-01Photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban, with a red tilak mark on his forehead and long dark hair falling to his shoulders. He wears a long rudraksha mala, with the beads spaced along a chain, and sits on a silver-framed chair with red and gold upholstery, hands clasped in his lap, gazing to the side. Behind him a standing attendant in orange robes with long wavy hair leans in. On the left a older man in white clothes with a thin chain sits. Behind them is a large painted backdrop of a saffron-robed seated figure beside a pink temple tower. A red draped table is in the foreground. A translucent purple logo appears in the lower left. The seated figure in orange matches appearance cues of a person, with turban, rudraksha mala and saffron robes, though the identity is uncertain.2010-01-132003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01September 03 20072007-09-03A man with long dark hair and an orange robe with rudraksha malas sits cross-legged on a large white upholstered throne on a red stage, gesturing with his right hand while speaking. A backdrop portrait on the right shows a smiling man in a light-coloured turban. Lamps hang at upper left beside decorative hanging flowers. A few indistinct people are visible at the lower left edge.2006-07-16Night outdoor photo of a man in saffron-orange clothing seated on a black plastic chair on a raised pink stage. He wears a long swept-back hairstyle, a long gold bead necklace, and an orange shawl over his shoulder, with one leg crossed over the other and an orange sandal beside him. Behind him stand attendants in white dhotis with red borders, one holding a long wooden staff. A large colourful umbrella with orange, green and red panels and a small decorative fan-shaped banner hang above, with red string lights overhead. A carved orange seat stands at right. The page indicates a Karthikai Deepam satsang, though no lamps are clearly visible in frame.2010-11-21January 13 20102010-01-13
