A photograph of a homa-style puja in a plain hall with white walls and a corrugated roof. Several men in white dhotis and yellow shawls sit on the floor in front of a fire pit with burning oil lamps and offerings; the central man holds his hands in anjali. A row of small brass lamps lies on an orange and purple mat, with fruit, bowls and a plate of flowers nearby. Devotees, including a woman in white with folded hands, sit along the left wall, and a drummer sits behind the altar. A framed poster hangs on the upper left wall, and a red-curtained shrine is at right. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.

A indoor ritual gathering in a plain whitewashed hall with a grey floor. In the foreground a fire pit burns with flames, surrounded by small ritual offerings, brass plates and fruit. Several men sit on orange and blue mats. Men in white dhotis wear yellow shawls and rudraksha malas, and one in a yellow shawl beside the fire rings a small hand bell. A man in a red-orange shawl sits among the devotees near a large drum. Along the back wall hang framed photographs and a painted red wave border. Aside from the fire pit, the setting suggests a puja or homa performed by priests with an audience.
