A dense outdoor procession moves past a red-ochre wall, with a floral-decorated palanquin or ratha at the upper left strung with yellow and orange marigold garlands and tassels. Many devotees fill the street; saffron-orange flags and ceremonial staffs with brass finials and a trident rise above the crowd. Men in white dhotis and kurtas, women in saris and salwar kameez, and a few people in western clothes walk together, several with palms pressed in anjali. A bald man in white stands at the left edge near the procession. Trees and hills are visible behind the wall.

A procession outdoors among orange-flagged poles and a yellow-and-green floral-garlanded vehicle at left. Many devotees crowd a dirt path: a woman in a white sari with a striped border presses her palms together, a woman in a yellow blouse and orange sari stands near the centre, a woman in a pink kurta with a red shawl and a girl in grey stand at right. Men in white dhotis and kurtas stand among them, one with hands folded. Golden tridents and ceremonial staffs rise above the crowd, and a white canopy shows at right, with an orange-and-red banner and palm trees behind a terracotta wall.

Outdoor procession on a dusty red-earth road during a festival. Many men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and white saris walk among orange and saffron flags with a blue-and-white emblem. Several drummers in orange, red and yellow costumes beat large drums, and a decorated canopy or palanquin with marigold garlands stands in the background. A few men wear rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. No individual is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so no candidate is named.

A procession of devotees carries orange and yellow ceremonial flags and decorated banners with a white dove-and-flame style emblem through a rural outdoor path lined with plants. Many people wear orange saffron garments, white kurtas and white saris. A woman in a white sari with grey hair stands at right, and another woman in a pink-and-white head wrap stands nearby. A woman at left carries a brass pot with flowers and leaves, a ritual procession element. Decorative parasols with colourful panels are visible in the background, and the late sunlight gives the scene a warm glow.

Outdoor crowd scene on a sunny day beside a dirt road and trees. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis dominate the foreground, one in a white cap pointing forward, another in white with an orange garland. A bald sannyasi in an orange robe with beads stands at right, and a woman in a patterned sari with a red blouse stands among the crowd. Orange and red flags with a red-and-white parasol rise above the gathering, and a white banner stands at the right edge.

A photograph of a dusty outdoor procession at Adi Kailasa with a large crowd of devotees walking along a dirt path. Many people carry tall red-orange flags with blue circular emblems on long poles, and several carry ornate umbrella-like parasols with embroidered panels in red, gold and blue. Most women wear white saris with orange borders, and men wear white dhotis and shirts, while some onlookers wear bright blue, pink and striped clothing. Small green saplings line the path and low white and red-roofed buildings stand behind the crowd under a hazy sky.

A large outdoor gathering of mostly white-clad devotees on a dirt ground under tree cover, many holding red flags with a dark blue emblem. Men and women wear white dhotis, saris and kurta-style clothes. In the upper left, a decorated float or palanquin with gold and yellow ornaments carries figures in white. At right, a teal truck with a red-and-white canopy and a white-shirted man standing on top sits beside a small white building with a red roof. The scene appears to be a procession or pada yatra. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible.
