On the right, a figure in orange robes with long dark hair, holding a bell and a tall golden multi-tier lamp (aarti), faces a golden-decorated deity murti at left draped in garlands of pink, purple and yellow flowers. A crowd of devotees stands in front with hands folded in prayer; women wear white saris and cream dhotis, and a man at right wears a white dhoti with a red-gold shawl. A red flag on a pole rises at centre. Dappled sunlight falls on the scene. The figure in orange has distinctive long hair and orange robes, a person cue, but identity remains uncertain.

Outdoor photo under a shady tree canopy showing a procession of devotees gathered in two lines. In the foreground, two sannyasis in saffron-orange robes with maroon borders stand with their backs to the camera; the left one has long dark hair and a beard, the centre one is shaved-headed. Facing them, a crowd of devotees in white clothes, many wearing rudraksha malas and prayer beads, stand with palms pressed together in namaste. A woman in white on the right holds her hands in prayer, and a man in white carries a colourful patterned cloth bag. Greenery and a flag are visible behind the group.

Outdoor ground-breaking ritual under a canopy of mango leaves and colourful fringed cloth. A bare-chested man in an orange turban and orange cloth sits cross-legged with hands folded in prayer, wearing a white flower garland and a rudraksha mala; his distinctive orange head covering and garlands are visible, but his face is turned down and partly obscured, so the appearance is uncertain. Around him, white-clad devotees and others in orange sit or stand with palms pressed together. In front of him are brass plates of flowers, fruit and offerings, and small oil lamps with flames. To the left, a pit in the earth lined with bricks and a small mound with a decorated floor design mark the site. Smoke drifts across the scene.
