Indoor photo of a serving line in a bright white hall. Two men in saffron-orange robes serve food from steel chafing dishes on a buffet table at centre; the man at centre wears an orange shawl over bare shoulders and a sacred thread. Several people queue in front with their backs to the camera, including girls with ponytails in white tops and navy-and-light-blue jackets, and women in white saris and white clothing. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels and a dark backdrop are behind the buffet. The scene reads as a community meal line.

A buffet serving line at an indoor evening event. Behind a glass-topped counter with steel chafing dishes of food, a young person in orange robes with long dark hair serves rice and curry onto plates. Beside them, a woman in an orange sari with a red bindi stands, and a man in orange saffron robes with a rudraksha-style neck cord serves from a large tray of vegetables. Guests in white clothing hold plates in the foreground, and a larger group in white and cream robes stands in the background near a wall and a potted plant. A sliding glass door opens onto a dark evening view.

A buffet line inside a bright modern hall at an event in Kuala Lumpur. A young man in an orange sleeveless top with long dark hair stands at the serving counter behind steel chafing dishes of rice, vegetables and curry. Beside him, a woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala serves food onto plates. In the foreground, several men and women in casual clothes and glasses hold plates and line up for food. Behind them, a row of people in white clothes stands along the wall near a speaker and potted plants, and more people are visible through glass doors on the right. A candidate for a person is visible in the orange top with long hair (probable), serving food at the buffet.

A photograph of a crowded indoor food-serving area. A person in long dark hair and an orange sash stands behind a steel serving tray, serving food, while another man in an orange robe beside the windows also handles food. In the foreground a woman in a white and orange floral dress and a red-beaded necklace reaches toward a plate, and a man in glasses leans over the trays, with a man in an orange-striped shirt at the right edge. Several young people in orange and white shirts stand in the background, one holding a plate of rice and a white bag. The woman's and man's presence is clear, but the scene suggests an annadan-style meal line rather than any particular ritual.

Buffet service at an indoor convention hall with white ceiling lights and glass windows. Several men and women in white dhotis and kurtas, some wearing lanyards, hold white plates while serving themselves from steel chafing dishes of rice and a brown curry. An older man in a white dhoti and white shirt with a rudraksha mala and a red tilak stands center, holding a plate of food. A woman in an orange sari with a rudraksha mala serves at the counter. Background shows more people in white clothing seated in the hall.

A photo of an annadan style meal service in a hall with orange curtains and ceiling fans. Volunteers in white clothes and aprons, some wearing gloves, serve food from steel pots and trays onto plates held by a line of people. On the left a man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala stands near the serving counter. A bald man with a long beard in white clothes stands among the line, with a woman in a pink dupatta and a woman in white at the right. No clear, unambiguous evidence of a person's presence is visible; the orange-robed figure is not identifiable as him from appearance alone.

A photo of an annadan style communal meal in a plain white hall with yellow curtains and ceiling fans. A man in an orange shirt with a rudraksha-style cord stands at left, serving from a long steel counter filled with metal pans and bowls. Several people in white clothes, including a man in a white shirt and a woman in white with a pink dupatta, wait in line holding steel plates to receive food. Others sit at tables at the back.

A man in white dhoti and shirt stands at right holding a steel plate, while a person in white and a woman in orange and red garments serve food from pots. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand barefoot in a line along the right side, waiting to be served.

In the foreground a woman with a dark bun in an orange-pink top and a woman in a red and orange sari stand at a chafing dish of food, serving rice and food onto plates. Behind the counter an older man in a white shirt and a red-and-white tilak-marked forehead, wearing a rudraksha mala, holds a plate of food. Beside him a man in white clothes holds a plate of fried food, and a bearded man in white stands at the left. A woman in a yellow shawl and red bindi watches at the right. The setting looks like a community annadan meal service.
