Interior of a workshop storing and crafting temple furnishings: a large carved wooden chariot-like structure with a horse head, a carved wooden palanquin or ratha frame, a golden ornate chair, a green wooden cart, and carved wooden beds and benches. A seated woman in a rust-red sari sits on a carved wooden bench at left. Four men stand in the centre and right: three in white dhoti and shirts, one in a saffron-and-brown robe with an orange shawl, and one in white with an ID lanyard at far right. Lamps hang from the ceiling and a red mat lies on the concrete floor. The image is a photograph; the saffron-robed man is not clearly identifiable from appearance, so he is described by role only.2014-08-06Interior workshop where gilded temple deity murti and ritual objects are being prepared. In the foreground at right, a large gold-coloured deity murti wears a green and gold garment, a gold necklace and a tall crown, with raised hand. Behind it, a gold-coloured tiered shrine structure and a golden mythical animal figure stand among wooden planks and crates. On the left, a person in an orange-brown garment sits on the floor near a wooden stand, sweeping with a broom. Four men in white dhotis and white shirts stand in the middle of the room, two wearing garlands of rudraksha-like beads, with others watching. Small brass items and jewellery sit on a cloth and tray in front of the murti.2014-08-06May 22 20122012-05-22Several women in plain white sarees with gold borders clean and polish ornate gold-painted furniture in a large hall with polished tiled floors. In the foreground a woman with a braid and a white forehead mark leans over a carved gold lion-headed stand, wiping it with a cloth. Behind her a woman in a white saree and a red waist sash walks past a metal scaffold, and another woman in a pale blue salwar kameez works on the floor at right. Further back a gold throne with red cushions and a gold canopy-style seat stands beside framed paintings on the walls, and a ladder leans nearby. Green lanyards hang around the women's necks.2016-09-16A photograph of a temple ritual inside a plain whitewashed room with a ceiling fan-free concrete floor. In the centre, a deity murti is decorated with orange and red flower garlands and a silver-embellished garment, placed on a pink silk-covered platform. A man in white dhoti bends over the murti, apparently performing worship. To the left, several men stand in orange and red robes; one wears an ornate embroidered conical hat and carries a tall golden staff. A man in an orange jacket and orange cloth stands centrally, watching. A bare-chested man in a white cloth stands at the right edge beside a gilded ornament. Green leaves lie on the floor near the murti.2010-12-17A seated figure in a rust-orange robe and white flower garland sits on a red-upholstered gold-framed throne with a gilded lion-form figure at its base, extending hands toward a bowl of offerings. An older bald man in orange robes bends forward to receive or present something from the seated figure. Behind them, several people in orange robes, rudraksha malas and a woman in white stand in a red-carpeted hall with a floor fan and framed photos on the wall. Offerings of bananas sit in a box in front. The seated figure has long dark hair and ornate gold-framed chair styling, but the appearance is not clearly enough distinctive to confirm a candidate.2014-08-06August 06 20142014-08-06May 30 20122012-05-30Photograph of a satsang setting with a seated man on a leopard-print cushioned throne with gold lion-head armrests. Before him, a woman in white with gold-bordered cloth and a rudraksha garland bends to touch a white dog's head with a purple garland, while a second woman in white stands behind. A man in white with gold border and an orange shawl watches at right, and garlands of marigolds and red flowers hang on deity murti behind. A maroon curtain and a dark panel with a golden hand mudra motif form the backdrop.2016-01-30August 20 20062006-08-20August 28 20142014-08-28A seated figure in an orange-brown robe with a white flower garland and a red bracelet sits on a red zebra-striped sofa with gold lion-head armrests, leaning forward to offer something to a kneeling man in a white shirt and dark trousers who holds a banana. Behind them, two women in white and orange robes with rudraksha malas stand near a black speaker, and a woman in an orange sari with a garland stands on red carpet. A wooden tray holds rudraksha beads and bananas in the foreground, with a red curtain and wall photos behind.2014-08-06
