A blurred roadside photograph of green rice fields under an overcast grey sky. Two tall steel lattice electricity pylons carry power lines across the field, with dense green trees along the horizon and a leafy tree at the right edge. The foreground shows bushes and scrubby vegetation. No people or ritual activity are visible. The date stamp 29 10 2006 appears in red in the lower right corner.2006-10-29A photograph of a tall steel lattice electricity pylon standing in a flat green field under heavy grey storm clouds. Several power lines run from its arms, and a second pylon is faintly visible in the distance beside a line of trees. A tree with dense foliage stands at the right edge, and dark freshly turned soil lies in the foreground. No people, deities or ritual activity are visible.2006-10-29October 27 20062006-10-27A photograph of a flat green field under an overcast sky with several white wind turbines. The nearest tower is tall and white, with partly legible dark lettering running down its shaft, and a smaller lattice-tower turbine stands beside it. Further turbines line the horizon across the fields. Dense dark trees and a low red-topped fence post with metal railings sit in the foreground. No people are visible.2006-10-27A photograph of an open, flat plot of land with patchy grass, bare reddish-brown earth and shallow puddles after rain. Low wooden-looking stakes and concrete fence posts mark the boundary of the plot. A young slender tree stands on the left, with dense green shrubs and taller trees along the far edge. Power lines cross a cloudy sky above, and a distant low hill and a white boundary wall appear on the left. A small figure of a single person stands far off near the wall. A date stamp reading 23 10 2006 and a copyright caption appear in the lower right corner.2006-10-23Outdoor photograph of a rural electricity pole and transformer on a dry, grassy embankment under a pale blue sky. Dried straw and crop debris are caught in the wires and crossarms of the pole, apparently left by floodwater. A green transformer box is mounted at mid-height, with power lines running across the frame. A man in a white sleeveless vest stands at the lower right near the dirt track. Dense green bushes and scrub fill the background. The scene shows flood damage in a rural area.December 15 20172017-12-15A photograph of an outdoor electrical substation under a heavy, overcast grey sky. A tall steel lattice frame carries three insulators with cross-arms and overhead wires, standing above a white-painted concrete wall. In the foreground, a dark transformer with cooling fins sits on a dirt ground, and a metered switchgear cabinet stands to the right. No people are visible; the scene shows construction-stage electrical infrastructure at the site.A photograph taken from a moving vehicle of storm-damaged electricity infrastructure: a tilted concrete utility pole and a tangle of crossarms, insulators and wires leaning over a roadside. Behind it stand whitewashed compound walls with painted advertising, including a large red and blue lettered sign and a painted portrait of a woman with flowers. Grass and scattered litter sit in the foreground. No people are visible.2012-01-03A photograph at dusk of a concrete platform edged by tall galvanized steel crowd-control barriers with vertical bars. A grey metal street lamp stands in the foreground. Behind the barriers, a grassy embankment and a row of steel lattice electricity pylons and overhead gantry structures stand against a pale sunset sky. No people are visible.2016-06-03An outdoor electrical substation under construction at the Bidadi site. A steel lattice gantry with three insulator-mounted cable connections and a vertical steel pole stands against a white block wall. A grey oil-filled transformer sits at left with cooling fins, and a dark grey metal enclosure with a green-and-white BESCOM metering panel stands at right. Raw reddish-brown earth, a shovel and scattered construction debris surround the equipment under an overcast sky. No people are visible.2009-11-10A photograph taken through a vehicle window of an industrial plant beneath a cloudy sky. Two tall smokestacks, one white with red bands and one dark grey, release plumes of white smoke. Elevated pipelines and steel gantries run across the frame above a tan boundary wall, with green shrubs and a tree at left. Utility poles and power lines cross the sky, and distant hills appear at the right. No people are visible.2014-06-23
