A priest in white dhoti and white shirt with a yellow sash bends over a black stone shivalinga, pouring water from a brass vessel onto it in an abhishekam. Behind him stands a gilded arched shrine with an orange backdrop and a deity murti of Shiva with trident and crown beside a goddess in a pink and green sari, both draped with marigold garlands. A small gold sri yantra sits on a wooden stand in front of the linga, and a seated white-cloth figure in a blue turret-style head covering rests at the right edge. Brass oil lamps stand at the left, and the scene is a temple shrine interior.2010-01-24 +1 copiesA priest in a white dhoti and white shirt with a yellow sash stands bent forward at a dark stone pedestal, pouring water from a brass pot over a golden shri yantra on a small wooden stand, a ritual bathing of the sacred geometry.
