Beside him, a white-garlanded statue of a deity in red robes sits on a plinth. Around the platform, devotees in orange sannyasi-style cloth and white clothes sit with offering plates of flowers and lamps, while a woman in a green sari stands at right. Red curtains hang at the window.2014-07-03A priest in white dhoti and shawl with maroon borders, wearing a marigold garland, performs aarti with a lit flame in a metal lamp in his right hand and a handbell in his left.
