February 16 20132013-02-16A bare-chested sadhu with ash-smeared body and a tied-up matted topknot sits cross-legged on a mat in front of a colourful tent with yellow, green and purple panels and marigold garland. He wears an orange and white wrap, a white bead necklace with a pendant, and holds his hands together. A small fire smoulders in a pit before him beside a log, with sandals scattered nearby.2013-02-15August 09 20072007-08-09A smiling man with long, loose dark hair stands barefoot in shallow river water, waving his right hand. He wears an orange saffron wrap over an orange top and a double strand of gold beads and clear crystal beads with a gold pendant at the chest. A red and white tilak marks his forehead. Behind him a wooden pole stands in the water, with a sandy bank, distant riverside crowds and a bridge in the hazy sky. Orange flower petals lie on the steps at right. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), shown in person at the Triveni Sangam riverbank, with long hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha-style gold and crystal necklaces.2006-01-08June 04 20062006-06-04A photograph of a single seated man in saffron-orange robes outdoors, sitting cross-legged on a low wooden platform with a cushion, a woven mat beneath him. He wears a gold headband, long swept-back dark hair, a gold-toned beaded necklace, and his right hand is extended in a gesture while the left rests on his knee. Beside him on the mat stands a brass kalasha-style vessel with a spout. Behind him are dark grey stone deity murti sculptures on pedestals, red-painted walls, palm foliage and small red signboards. The appearance of the seated man with distinctive long hair, a gold headband, saffron robes and a rudraksha-style necklace is consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable), seated in teaching posture.2010-12-27A photograph of a man seated cross-legged on a paved outdoor platform beside a metal fire tray with burning wood, performing a homa. He wears a plain orange-saffron cloth draped over his chest and shoulders, has long dark wavy hair parted in the middle, and a red tilak on his forehead; his eyes are closed and his right hand is raised over the flames. Swamiji (probable): the saffron wrap and long flowing hair are the cues, and he is presented as the officiant of the fire ritual. A small child in a yellow top and red trousers stands at the left edge, a microphone stand is visible at the right, and a dog appears in the upper background.2008-01-22June 04 20062006-06-04October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesDecember 27 20072007-12-27July 20 20102010-07-20October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copies
