A photograph of a crowd gathered under a canopy hung with marigold and jasmine garlands. In the foreground at left, a figure in an orange turban and orange wrap, with a green and white garland around the neck, stands with palms pressed together in namaste toward the crowd. Behind him, a large crowd of men in white shirts and white dhotis, many wearing caps and lanyard badges, raise hands in greeting and carry saffron-orange and red flags on poles. A white banner with red and blue lettering and a printed portrait is held aloft at right, and multi-storey buildings line the street behind. The figure's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance; the cues visible are an orange turban, orange wrap and garland, which are consistent with a sannyasi, so the a person field is set to unsure.

A large crowd of men in white shirts and white dhotis moves through a street procession, many with raised hands and smiling faces. In the foreground on the right, a man in an orange turban and orange robe holds up a tall red flag on a pole, with a bundle of coconuts and red and white flower garlands hanging from the pole beside him. Orange and white flags and a banner reading a Tamil slogan are visible among the crowd. Behind them a truck decorated with garlands carries a framed portrait, and white bunting strings hang across the street above a stone building.

Outdoor photograph of a roadside procession on a paved highway. Devotees in white dhotis and white saris, many barefoot, raise red saffron-coloured flags on poles and march behind a red banner showing a painted figure with a trident and garland. A woman in a white sari with a gold border holds a tray, and a man in white carries a garland of red and white flowers. An orange umbrella with white beading is held aloft. A bearded elderly man in white with rudraksha beads on his neck raises his hand. Behind them are trucks and a bus shelter, with a white car in the right foreground.

A dense crowd of devotees in saffron and orange robes, many with rudraksha malas and white or ash-marked foreheads, raise their arms and hands in celebration during a procession at an outdoor festival ground. Several red flags bearing a printed portrait of a bearded saint are held aloft, with a tree and tents in the background. Some men wear white dhoti-style cloth and gold-toned necklaces, and women in orange and red saris stand among them.

A dense outdoor procession on a dirt path lined with saffron and orange flags, banana plants and colourful decorated stalls. Men in white kurta-style clothes and devotees in white saris clap and dance, while drummers play a large drum and a handheld instrument in the foreground. A man in an orange turban and orange robes walks near the centre, and a decorated canopy with a red and yellow motif rises above the crowd, along with a golden ceremonial fan-like object. Many onlookers watch, some holding cameras. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible at close range, so the appearance is uncertain.

A photograph of a crowd gathered outdoors near a dusty open field, with orange and saffron flags and decorated umbrellas overhead. In the foreground, a woman with long dark hair in a white-and-green floral garland extends her hands toward an orange-saffron cloth held up by people in the crowd. Several men and young women in white shirts and kurtas press close, some with vibhuti or tilak marks, and a cameraman with a video camera films from the middle. Behind them stand a wooden or bamboo barrier and parked vehicles beyond a row of multi-storey buildings.
