A photograph of a stone temple doorway with blue-painted wooden doors held open, leading into a dim inner passage. In the foreground a barefoot man in a flowing saffron-orange robe walks toward the camera, with long hair, a white tilak mark on his forehead and bare upper arms marked with white paste. Behind him a man in a white dhoti and an orange shawl, wearing a rudraksha mala, walks with other people in orange and white clothing. Further inside, a tall brass oil lamp stands near a group of people, some carrying a tray of offerings. Carved stone pillars and a stone corbel frame the entrance.

A photograph of a procession climbing stone steps outdoors under a clear sky, with a white metal railing and a wall with a painted mural at right. At right, a barefoot man with long swept-back dark hair and a dark beaded necklace wears a loose orange saffron wrap and walks upward. Beside and behind him, several shaved-headed men in orange and white ritual clothing wear gold-bead necklaces and gold-trimmed white dhotis; one in orange holds a long red pole, and one in orange carries a small orange cloth. A man in a red shirt with white dhoti walks among them, and a youth in white with a gold necklace stands at center. Swamiji (probable) is the barefoot figure at right, identified by long swept-back hair, orange saffron wrap, and dark beaded necklace, in a procession role.

A photograph inside a stone temple hall with carved pillars, where three men in saffron-orange robes stand near a yellow metal railing while onlookers watch. The central figure has a long grey beard, rudraksha mala beads and a wristwatch, and holds a small red item. Beside him on the left, a man in orange with glasses wears a gold pendant. On the right, a younger man in an orange robe with a gold necklace stands with hands folded in namaskar, with a red bindi and white tilak on his forehead. Behind them, men in white and checked shirts, a man bare-chested with a white dhoti, and a uniformed police officer are visible.

Outdoors on a dirt path beneath leafy green trees, a man in orange robes with a swept-back hairstyle and a red-orange shawl walks and gestures with his right hand while speaking. Beside him, a bearded man in an orange-peach robe and eyeglasses walks with his hands folded. A man in a white shirt, white dhoti with a green border and eyeglasses walks in front, looking down. Behind them, a woman in a white sari with an orange border and other people in orange robes follow along a path lined with shrubs and a low wall. The orange-robed man in front has distinctive swept-back long hair and a shawl, which is consistent with the probable Swamiji candidate, though the identification is not certain from appearance.

A photograph taken in a temple corridor with painted walls and stone pillars. At the centre, a smiling man in saffron-orange robes wears a rudraksha mala around his neck and a beaded crown-like headband, and holds his hands together in greeting. Beside him, a bald saffron-robed sannyasi with a rudraksha mala walks alongside. Uniformed police officers, a man in an orange wrap and devotees in white shirts and dhotis surround them, and a painted deity figure is visible on the wall at left. Probable Swamiji is the central figure, identified by the swept-back hair, ornate headband, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas. Five or more people are visible.

Photograph of two saffron-robed sannyasis walking along a stone pathway toward a large white gopuram temple tower at Tiruvannamalai temple. The sannyasi on the right has long swept-back dark hair and wears a saffron cloth and a garland of flowers, with a rudraksha-style mala; the sannyasi on the left is bald with a white beard, wearing a deep orange wrap. Around them, men in white shirts and dhotis, some wearing pink and white rosette badges, walk alongside; a woman in a teal sari is at left. Trees and a stone wall frame the scene, and a blue-domed shrine is visible behind them.

A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a pale green embroidered garment and a white turban-style headpiece with gold trim, receiving water poured from a terracotta pot. An older man in white kurta and glasses, with an orange scarf, bends forward with cupped hands held toward the seated figure. A younger man in white with an orange scarf stands behind holding the pot, and bald men in orange and white robes stand in the background. A woman in the lower left corner is partly visible. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with a red curtain. This looks like a ritual washing or abhishekam-style offering of water.

A crowded nighttime photo inside a busy temple lane lined with shops and offerings. In the foreground, a man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with a gold-beaded necklace and gold armbands looks upward, a white tilak on his forehead; the cues are long swept-back hair and ornate clothing, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate present in person. Beside him, a woman in an orange sari with a dark mala smiles. Behind them, a man in an orange t-shirt with a rudraksha-style mala and a man in white kurta with a wooden bead mala look up; a bald man in white and a man in a light blue shirt with a mala stand nearby, and devotees fill the background.
