A four-panel graphic collage of painted illustrations in a traditional Indian devotional art style. Top left: a seated man in white dhoti with a cloth over his shoulder receives instruction from a standing figure in green. Top right: a man lies on a bed while another figure in green stands beside him. Bottom left: two robed figures in white and orange sit before a seated figure, with a devotee in white bowing. Bottom right: a figure in orange sits beside a small shrine holding a deity murti, with a second robed person in white facing it. The panels depict scenes from a story rather than physical people in the room.2021-07-04March 11 20112011-03-11 +1 copiesPhoto 11737725September 09 20112011-09-09 +1 copiesMay 24 20122012-05-24A photo inside a temple shrine with blue-painted walls and orange marigold garlands hanging above. A bare-chested man with a thick sweep of dark hair and a large saffron wrap stands at right, raising one hand upward. A man in a rust-orange dhoti and ochre shawl with a garland stands at left, hands folded in front of him. Both wear rudraksha malas, and a central deity murti or altar stands in the background between them. Stone and marble ritual items sit on the floor. The scene looks like a satsang or puja setting.2012-05-27January 17 20082008-01-17May 29 20122012-05-29A photograph of an indoor ritual scene with a standing man in orange-gold ceremonial clothing and a heavy gold necklace bowing forward, and a second man in an orange shawl and white dhoti receiving him beside a blue shrine niche with a small deity murti. Both men have long hair and garlands of white flowers hang from them. Orange flowers and leaves decorate the top of the frame. The taller figure with long swept-back hair, orange ornate clothing and a gold chain matches the visible cues associated with the page's a person, so this is a probable identification.2012-05-27May 30 20122012-05-30October 02 20112011-10-02A photograph inside a shrine room with orange and yellow flower garlands framing a niche. A bare-chested man with long swept-back hair and a saffron-coloured wrap stands at the left, holding a brass vessel and bending toward a small deity murti. Behind him stands a figure wearing a bright orange garment and a gold garland, with long dark hair, also near a devotional arrangement. Floral garlands drape the frame and an altar with lit lamps sits below.2012-05-27
