The central man in a white kurta wears a lanyard badge and a tilak mark and dances with arms outstretched. On the left, a young man in white with a rudraksha mala grins and reaches toward an easel. On the right, a man in a white shirt with a red sash and rudraksha mala plays a drum with sticks. Behind them stands a man in white and a red and gold ceremonial banner with floral embroidery. A blue sign reads no mobiles allowed beside a yellow and white sign about switching off cell phones.

A photograph of a cultural performance in an indoor hall with plain beige walls, a brown wooden door and wooden cabinets. Four young men in traditional white dhotis perform. The leftmost dancer wears a green shawl and holds a long black stick with a tassel, and seems to be singing into a microphone. The central figure wears a gold shawl and plays a drum with a magenta cloth wrap and green panel. Another man in white stands behind him, and a fourth performer in white with an orange-and-green bag at his side stands on the right with hands pressed together. White plastic chairs and an orange chair sit at the edge, with a speaker on a stand.

Indoor stage performance in a hall with a white wall and a lit metal lighting frame at left. Three young men in white dhoti and kurta stand on a light wooden floor; two at left wear rudraksha malas and one holds a small microphone, while the central figure beats a round drum held in front of a wooden panel. A fourth performer at right wears a green and gold garment and holds a long pole. A dancer in a gold shimmering shawl stands at centre, mid-movement, facing the drummer. A dark maroon curtain hangs in the background, with strings of small lights along the stage edge.

Four men in white dhotis and shirts perform a folk music set on a raised stage in a hall. Two play long wooden nadaswaram-style pipes, one in the centre and one at right, while a drummer at right beats a round drum and another man at left holds a large barrel drum slung over his shoulder. A yellow banner hangs above and a green painted map of South India with temple motifs covers the backdrop. Seated audience members in the foreground are seen from behind.

Outdoor festival scene on bare red earth under a canopy. Four bare-chested men in white dhotis perform energetic drum and cymbal music: each plays a cymbal raised overhead while a barrel drum rests before him, bodies arched backward. Behind them a crowd of devotees in white shirts, white and red saris, and saffron garments watches. Near the back, a figure in an orange headwrap and orange robes stands on a raised platform beneath a white arch, but the appearance is too uncertain to identify him. Gold-edged ritual decorations and a draped orange fabric hang from the canopy.
