A seated man in a saffron-orange robe sits on a carved dark wooden throne with a gilded halo-like backrest decorated with white flowers and red blossoms. He wears layered red and white flower garlands, a wooden bead mala with a gold pendant, and a red bindi on his forehead. Two golden lion statues flank the throne, and silver plates of offerings with a silver bowl sit on the leopard-print rug below. Potted plants, orchids and chrysanthemums frame the stage against a backdrop of pale translucent panels. Swamiji (probable): the saffron robe, long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala and gold necklace match the candidate's presentation, seated on a throne as the central figure of a ceremony.2012-12-25August 25 20172017-08-25 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated man on an ornate golden throne with a large sunburst backrest, flanked by a golden trident and a silver stand on the left.
