A dense crowd of devotees fills an indoor hall with white walls, barred windows and strings of fairy lights overhead. In the foreground, a man in orange robes and an orange turban with a white flower garland sits near a low wooden platform, his hands extended toward the crowd. To the right, a man with long swept-back hair, a grey beard, an orange shawl and beaded necklaces stands among others dressed in white. Many devotees in white dhotis and saris, some with folded hands, press forward. Looking at appearance alone, the man in orange with the turban and garland is a probable candidate for the a person described on the page, but the cues are not conclusive. The scene shows a darshan-style gathering with a seated figure receiving devotees. Around 60 to 80 people are visible.
