A seated bearded man with a tall brown turban and bare upper body sits at a cluttered wooden desk piled with papers, a brass vessel and a pink slip. Behind him stand a woman in a gold-and-orange patterned sari with a necklace, a man in a lavender shirt and white dhoti, and an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti with hands clasped. At left, a young man in an orange-red robe leans in toward the desk. Behind them are bookshelves filled with books, a framed lion picture on a blue-green wall, and arched windows with wall lamps.2001 - Glimpses From Various Programs2001 - Glimpses From Various ProgramsIndoor photo of a small room with orange-painted walls and wooden cabinets with glass doors. At a glass-topped table covered with patterned cloth sit a man in an orange robe with a shaved head and white forehead markings, and a woman in a red sari with rudraksha beads and gold bangles who gestures with her hand. On the table are a brass plate, steel tumblers, small framed pictures, books, flowers and a rudraksha mala. A white-clad man with white hair and a moustache stands at left holding a gold-bordered shawl, and a man in white kneels at the bottom with palms joined.2014-07-02 +1 copies2001 - Glimpses From Various Programs2001 - Glimpses From Various ProgramsA photograph of two men in a room with blue-painted walls and grey stone pillars. A standing young man in an orange-red robe with a sash and a rudraksha mala looks toward the seated man. The seated older man is bare-chested with a long white beard, white tilak markings on his forehead, a rudraksha mala, and a tall brown matted-hair headdress. He sits behind a desk stacked with newspapers, books and papers, with a brass hand bell and a small brass lamp on a wooden shelf behind him. Appearance-based cues on the seated man are not distinctive enough to confirm an identity, so his role is described only as an elder ascetic seated at the desk.A photo inside a temple hall at night shows a seated man in an orange-saffron robe and a gold-bead garland signing a large open ledger on a white-draped table. Beside him stands a long-haired bearded man in orange robes wearing a large gold pendant and garland, and a bare-chested priest with a sacred thread, rudraksha mala and pink shawl watches closely. A woman in a purple and green silk sari with gold border stands at right, with a tray of fruit, flowers and brass vessels at the table's edge. Painted deity statues stand in the background.2009-01-14August 20 20152015-08-20August 11 20092009-08-11April 28 20162016-04-28June 05 20152015-06-05
