Behind them stand ornate golden deity murti decorated with jewelled necklaces, golden crowns and gold-and-green draped cloth. A brass tray with fruit and a water bottle sit on a wooden table in front, with a microphone stand in view. The setting is a stage with a ceremonial puja-like honouring.2015-12-11May 21 20162016-05-21A photograph of an indoor devotional gathering. A woman in a deep red sari with gold bangles and a red-and-gold beaded garland sits on a gold-finished lion-headed seat, her hand resting on the knee of a kneeling man in a white shirt and red-orange shawl, whose head is bowed toward her. Behind them, a standing woman in white with a red-orange shawl holds a tall garland of yellow, white and magenta flowers on a pole, while a woman in a grey sari with red blouse stands with palms pressed together in namaste, and more women in white and red-orange shawls stand in the background. A warm lamp glows at upper left and a framed picture hangs on the wall. The setting suggests a darshan or blessing moment.2014-05-17February 09 20122012-02-09A seated man in saffron-orange robes with a bare chest and long dark hair swept back sits on a red tiger-print cushioned seat, adorned with a long floral garland, ornate gold bangles and a rudraksha mala, with a white tilak on his forehead. A devotee in a white shirt and trousers bends forward to touch his feet while another man holds an offering plate. Behind them a woman in a saffron sari stands holding a silver trident, with women in saffron and white garments and a child watching. A gold lion-headed figure and a golden deity murti sit in the foreground, with red drapes and a gold-framed backdrop around the scene.2014-08-02A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-and-leather throne with lion-head armrests, in front of a silver-ornamented shrine with a deity murti and pink-clad figure behind. The seated person wears a red turban, a red and gold garment, a brown beaded rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant, and holds a small glass or crystal object aloft while speaking into a microphone. Two people in white kneel before the throne in obeisance; one wears a red shawl, the other is bent low with head near the throne. A standing attendant in red stands at the back-left. Probable Swamiji cues: red turban, rudraksha mala and gold pendant on the throned figure, with the throne and devotees kneeling to him.2015-09-16May 21 20162016-05-21A seated man on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion wears a saffron-orange robe, a long rudraksha mala with large beads, and a white-and-red forehead marking. A kneeling attendant in a saffron-and-gold dhoti and shawl, with white ash markings on his arms and forehead, extends his hands toward the seated man over a large silver bowl on a white cloth with a green leaf. Floral decorations and a red-draped backdrop frame the scene, and another seated person is partly visible at the right edge. The setting suggests a ritual, possibly an abhishekam or padapuja, though the exact rite is not visible.2014-09-13
