A large crowd of devotees in orange and saffron clothing sits and stands under a corrugated metal shelter, many with palms pressed together in namaste or raising hands in greeting. Several wear orange caps, some carry shoulder bags, and a few hold cameras. Pale pink and grey buildings and metal poles frame the open-sided hall. No individual can be clearly identified as a person from appearance in this crowd. Partially visible faces at the edges and rear add to the dense group.

Outdoor photograph of a group of devotees seated and standing on rocks and grass in a wooded hillside setting with tall pine and broadleaf trees. Most wear saffron-orange shawls over white or dark clothing; a woman in front right wears a dark top and an orange shawl, and a man at lower left wears white with an orange shawl. Several people sit on boulders and a man in a grey shirt stands near a tree at the back. Dense green shrubs and a rope-strung path frame the scene.

A crowded photograph inside a corrugated metal roofed shelter at a Himalayan shrine, with many people seated and standing shoulder to shoulder in orange saffron robes and orange shawls. In the foreground a young woman in orange holds a long metal ritual staff with a trident-like top, and a bearded man in orange sits beside her. Several women in white or grey jackets, caps and a woman in a blue jacket photographing with a camera appear at right. Rocky stone and a red railing are visible at left, and the setting resembles a pilgrimage site with temple pillars and bare stone walls behind the gathering.
